Among the first workers along the North Shore were:

• Russell Kremmel and family
• Harland Rhoads and family

In the late ’70’s the Board of Directors voted to look for property to make a
home base with a view of reaching out across the North Shore.

The directors looked and looked but finally ended up right next to the reserve
at a property that had been looked at years before.
None of those other properties were what God wanted for us.

Contacts were finally made around Iron Bridge and a property purchased in 1984 Map

All Tribes Lighthouse Mission was founded 1984, and the rest is history !

January 2005

It is now 21 year later. I am glad we do not have to stop at 1984!!! So much happened in that year that is is impossible to remember.

Thoughts have been going in my mind for over the past years. What if we would not have come? What if the building program never happened. We are so prone to look at the here and now. Would you look over the shoulder with me for just a few min.

I was talking with someone about measuring our worth against God's standards. It was really encouraging to me. God says to us, "What shall a man profit if he gain the whole world and loose his own soul" Sounds to me that a soul is of top value in His sight and on His priority list.

We can only see from our perspective of course but looking from that I feel the Lord has been pleased with the work done. Personally, I wish it could be more, but by my count, because we came and shared the good news of salvation heaven has at least 8 more inhabitants today than if we had not heard and answered "Yes, I will go". I am not saying that this has been accomplished by one or two people but a team has worked together. I wish I had a way to count up how many lives we have touched with the Gospel. I guarantee it is over the 1000 mark. Yes the investment has been great but the dividends of this investment are still coming in.

We had a new one testify to the fact that she had started walking with Jesus. There have been two other fellows that are making good strides. We dare not give up just because the going gets tough!

We must fulfill His commission that has been handed to us. We must value as He values. However, to accomplish anything we must rely on His wisdom and the leadership of His Spirit. We must go in the strength of the Lord. Our heart cries out for a new and fresh filling of His Spirit for His Kingdom to be advanced.
